	Jerry Clark Memorial Scholarship 2008      2 scholarships will be awarded to students who are currently    Sophomores majoring in Social Sciences. The winners will receive  $5,000 per year for their junior and senior years of study. Applications must be post marked No Later Than July 1, 2008 The student must be a child of dependent of an AFSCME member. They must have a GPA of 2.5 or better. 	Minnesota Ride for Kids fundraiser   This fundraiser benefits the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation Brain tumors are one of the largest killers of children. All the money raised by this in Minnesota goes to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation of the United States, Minnesota's ride is July 20, 2008 and leaves from Century College in White Bear Lake at 10:30 sharp.
